‘The making of doubt’ childrens project

In May 2009 Colette Sadler / stammer- productions initiated a pilot workshop and performance project entitled ‘Impossible bodies’ with School children between 6-8 years old in Glasgow. The aim of this project was to present a short extract from the performance to children from local schools, particularily those from marginalised backgrounds who may have had little or no exposure to dance or performance of this kind. The performance is followed by a workshop based on movement and costume themes from the performance that allow the children to interact with the puppets and dancers as well as creating their own ‘aliens’.
