I not I
This performance presents a collection of both human and nonhuman bodies. Alongside the codes of ‘normal’ human behaviour a language of the strange or uncanny appears as forms, gestures and movements that becomes a way of being in its own right. On what terms do we dececifer the meaning of this otherness?

Education workshops
Since May 2009 Colette Sadler / stammer productions have been implementing a series of workshops and performances entitled ‘Impossible bodies’ with school children between 6-8 years old in Glasgow. The aim is to present a short extract from the performance to children from local schools, particularily those from marginalised backgrounds who may have had little or no exposure to dance or performance of this kind. The performance is followed by a workshop based on movement and costume themes from the performance that allow the children to interact with the puppets and dancers as well as creating their own ‘aliens’. These workshops are financially supported by Glasgow City Council.
